Fintern March Special Edition
"When will you launch?", "Why are you advertising before launching?", "What's the plan for user tests?"...

Everybody wants to know when we will be accepting applications!
This newsletter continues to answer our frequently asked questions.
Launch plan
Our target is to launch in the second half of 2020, and we are working hard to make this as early as possible.

Our exact launch date depends on several external factors e.g. rigorous testing, integration with third party systems and regulatory authorisation.

Because these external factors are not all in our control, we can't tell you yet exactly when we will start accepting applications. We will give regular updates as we progress via our Newsletters and Facebook Page, and we will give more clarity on the target launch date as we go forward.

Rest assured that we are working flat out so that we can launch as soon as possible.

If you are eager to try our app, we are doing more rounds of user testing very soon - see more details below.

Thank you for your patience!
Why are we already advertising?
We have a lot of experience and great ideas on how to radically change lending in the UK.

But to build something that you truly want and love, we need your input and feedback.

If you share with us your frustrations with existing lenders, your ideas on how to do things better, your feedback on our designs, then we can build the solution you actually need.

As we grow, a bigger community gives a strong voice for change. We want to help people understand their finances, and use their knowledge and data to achieve financial freedom faster. The more people who are excited to go on this journey with us, the faster we can move, and the bigger impact we can make.

That's why we are inviting people to join our community now, months before we formally launch. Your feedback will help us shape the future of lending together.
Examples...
This week, we asked the Fintern community to vote on a product design option on Facebook. Your feedback helped us to make a quick decision, build something really beautiful, and solve an existential argument between Michelle and Tom!

Over the last few months, many people shared their stories including debt pains with us. All those generous and touching sharing made us even more reassured about our mission to fix the broken consumer market!
What's next in testing?
The next stage is our end-to-end App testing.

Our product testing are in stages:

1. Design testing for the user experience. This includes the look and feel of our App screens, navigation between screens and clarity of product explanation, and easiness for users to do what they intend to do. We conducted extensive testing rounds on this over the last few months. Many thanks to all of you who have supported this.

2. App testing by simulating the loan application process using the live App. It is intended to test App performance and ease of use with real data. We will be shortly sending invites for testing days in April and May. More App tests are expected as we upgrade the system. Further details will be emailed to the registered testers on process and dates. You can register as a tester at the link below if you'd like to participate.
